It's the second day of protests in a bid to get the Human Settlements Department to hear their concerns.

They claim the Housing Adjudication Committee isn't following proper processes in allocating flats.

They say people whose names aren't on the waiting list for the Austerville Drive units are being given keys.

Resident Celeste King believes the committee doesn't have the community's best interests.

"These people that are in charge they committee members, they take advantage just because they have power," she said.

They can do whatever they feel like and put whoever they feel like in the place and they have people that are really homeless. No really, really in need. They're all in the outskirts that do not have homes."

The residents say they've tried to contact the department but to no avail.
