#WaterShare: Gift of the Givers return to northern KZN
Updated | By Chanelle Lutchman
The Gift of the Givers Foundation will be distributing the bottled water that was collected in the East Coast Radio #WaterShare project to parts of KZN severely affected by the drought.
Spokesperson Imtiaz Sooliman says the NGO will also return to Vryheid in the north since several thousand families didn't receive water on Friday.
He says the foundation has received numerous calls for water in other drought-stricken areas.

"There's a lot of requirements for water and we have also been told that in mid-Illovo and Ixopo and more areas are becoming drought-stricken so as more areas become affected we will be sending water and trucks in those areas," he said.
Sooliman thanked listeners for contributing to East Coast Radio's #WaterShare campaign.
"We have been inundated with water from East Coast Radio listeners and we are very grateful for their support," he said.
