Water supply restored to most parts of Phoenix
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
A ward councillor in Phoenix says water has been restored to
most parts in the area.
Ward 49 councillor Tino Pillay says disruptions to their supply over the past five months have severely impacted some 40 000 residents.
He says they've all had to make do with a single water tanker.
Pillay says the issue was reported to the municipality.

He says they were told insufficient supplies at the Durban Heights Water Treatment Works have affected water levels at two reservoirs.
"Parts of Caneside and Shastri Park are back online now because the water levels have risen over the night and they've opened the reservoirs so most of the areas have water restored to their taps.”
