Sitole and Cele earlier sent a letter to the apex court to inquire about the impact of Zuma’s legal challenges on the order to arrest him, should he fail to hand himself over to authorities.

On Wednesday afternoon, at the gate of Zuma's homestead, a handful of MK Vets stood guard and warned journalists not to approach.

A confrontation took place between the group and members of the police who attempted to enter the homestead.

The MK Vets were adamant that no persons or vehicle should enter he property.
