WATCH: MK Vets march through streets of Durban

KZN authorities are apparently scrambling to bring senior local government officials to the Durban CBD, where some members of the province's Mkhonto we Sizwe Veterans have been holding independent demonstrations.

According to the Mk, the protesting group were not given permission to take to the streets.
The demonstrators have blocked access to some busy roads in the Durban CBD.

Among the list of demands put forward by the group include.
Implementation of ANC conference resolutions, resignation of corrupt, thieves, criminals and lampern current ANC so-called PEC”
We demand the disbanding of KZN ANC PEC and KZN MKMVA PEC .
We also demand the disbandment of all ANC/MKMVA Regional structures.
We also denounce the existence of the MKNC as a parallel structure in KZN
We demand houses not just houses but luxury houses as was promised and pronounced by Nelson Mandela and Cyril Ramaphosa respectively in Tanzania in 1990.
