WATCH: Heavy rainfall cause flooding in parts of Cape Town

The City of Cape
Town says the heavy rain in the area has left several informal settlements
under water.
The city's disaster management says overnight flooding has been reported in many areas.
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for localised flooding amid an intense cold front that hit the city on Monday.
Affected areas include Khayelitsha, Ottery, Langa, Strand, Philippi, Gugulethu, Delft, and Vryground.

Meanwhile, power outages have been reported in Mitchell's Plain, Rosebank, Mowbray, Claremont, Philippi, Hout Bay, Grassy Park, and Zeekoevlei.
The city's Charlotte Powell says some homes have been flooded, and some temporary structures collapsed due to the heavy rainfall.
