WATCH: Durban blaze guts local businesses

Durban metro police say a fire in the CBD spread to about 14 shops on Thursday night.
They believe the blaze broke out in a storage facility for vendors on Dr AB Xuma Street, formerly known as Commercial Road.
Spokesperson Parboo Sewpersad says, according to a group of hawkers, a strong odour of gas caught their attention when the fire began.

He says roads in the area were closed to traffic as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
"All together, we have heard that there is 14 shops that have been gutted in the fire.
"No injuries, no fatalities. The liquor store is also included in these 14 shops."
