A cute video of a baby rhino is going viral on social media.
Project Rhino KZN, who shared the video, says it is important to
highlight that rhinos are reproducing naturally on their own and should
be celebrated.
The organisation's Chris Galliers says protecting rhinos is an important task, as there is a real threat against their survival.

Galliers says the video of the one-month-old rhino running happily shows how the animals are worth fighting for. He adds that they also play an important role in the environment.

Despite the scourge of rhino poaching in South Africa and other parts of the continent, Galliers says there are some positives coming out of efforts to protect them.He says there has been an increase in the number of rhinos on private reserves.
"It's not all doom and gloom for our rhino populations. They are still breeding, but it is all on the back of a lot of hard work to that's going into protecting these animals day in and day out to ensure that we have a growing population."
