WATCH Blaze rips through Clairwood informal settlement

Firefighters battled a shack fire in Clairwood in the south of Durban on Friday.
The blaze ripped through some 50 informal dwellings.
eThekwini Fire Department's Acting Division Commander Mazwi Makhanya said they had five fire trucks on the scene.

There were no reported casualties.
"We have got SAPS and metro police closing off the roadway,” said Makhanya.
“We have evacuated people, and they are standing on the side of the road, so they are away from the shack. We are just busy with fire extinguishment."
