Warning of possible heavy rain over parts of KZN

The South African
Weather Service says parts of KZN can expect heavy rain from Monday afternoon.

"We have a cold front that brushed through last night and as a result of that, there will be a percentage of showers and thundershowers over the southern part of the province and 60% over the northern part,” says forecaster Ayanda Ntsele.
She says a warning has been issued.
"The thunderstorms will be encountered by rain, leading to localised flooding in places as well as over the northern parts of the province over the area of Pongola, Vryheid and other parts.

“We are expecting the rain to continue into tomorrow the whole day. We are expecting 60% chance of showers and thundershowers over the entire province.”
