Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Independent Electoral Commission says this weekend's voter registration drive in KZN, went smoothly.

Some 40 wards in the country will participate in next month's by-elections - seven of them are in KwaZulu Natal. These include wards under eThekwini Municipality, Nquthu and Pongola.
The IEC's Kate Baphela says in terms of KZN, they have not received any report that our provincial team can work with. The voter registration weekend is normally quiet, people come and register and go.
