Visible policing needed in Shallcross: Minority Front
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
There are calls for more visible policing in Shallcross and its surrounding areas in the wake of Sadia Sukhraj's death.
The Minority Front's Jonathan Annipen says more preventative measures are needed to tackle crime in residential areas.
"How much could have been done to prevent this from happening if we had the proper security agencies patrolling the community - particularly during the time when children are going to school," he said.
Nine-year-old Sukhraj's death has left the south of Durban community shocked and angry.
