KwaZulu-Natal premier Sihle Zikalala says young people who are ready to explore business ventures will be given government support.

He launched the Youth Business Empowerment Fund worth R100 million on the KZN north coast.
Zikalala said the aim is to create successful, young entrepreneurs who'll help boost the local economy through job opportunities.
He was speaking at a Youth Day event in Umtubatuba on Thursday.

"We announced last year that KwaZulu-Natal, through the office of the premier, developed a database for unemployed graduates.
"No less than 6 000 unemployed graduates that seek employment and reskilling have been captured into this database.
"So all unemployed graduates will be enrolled in the programme of data collection for various studies that this government is conducting."
