uMngeni chief whip gunned down

The DA in KZN says it's shocked and
horrified following the murder of uMngeni Municipality's Chief Whip,
Nhlalayenza Ndlovu.
The Howick councillor was gunned down last night.
"Details at this stage are sketchy. It's alleged that three gunmen approached his home and when councillor Ndlovu opened the door they shot him at point blank and left."
The party's provincial leader, Francois Rodgers, says Ndlovu will be remembered for his humility, and for putting the needs of those he served above his own.

He's put pressure on police to catch his killers.
"Once again, we can only call on the police to speedily bring to book those perpetrators who destroyed the life of a DA councillor, a human, a man and a father in the community of Howick."
