uMkhanyakude marred with service delivery issues - IFP
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Inkatha Freedom Party says a broader conversation is needed on the running of uMkhanyakude, especially when it comes to service delivery issues.

More than 350 employees at the northern KZN district municipality waited for three days before they received their salaries over the weekend.
They weren't told why there'd been a delay.

IFP caucus chair Sihle Ndlovu says the municipality's dealing with a number of difficult challenges.
"The IFP seeks the MEC or the premier of KwaZulu-Natal to intervene and resolve the problem that prevails at uMkhanyakude Municipality as this situation is not fair to the voters of uMkhanyakude.
"Service delivery is compromised and we do not have water and sanitation services running in the communities."
