Umhlanga company gets court order against ANCYL

An Umhlanga-based company has obtained an interim court order in the Durban Labour Court against the eThekwini ANC Youth League.
About 400 members of the league protested outside the CCI call centre offices over alleged poor working conditions.
It says it was responding to several complaints it received from unhappy employees of the company.

The company is accused of exploiting workers, missing overtime payments and unfair dismissals, among other things.
In a letter to ECR Newswatch on behalf CCI, the company's legal representative says their client will not be responding to any questions because the matter is sub judice.
