uMfolozi Municipality temporarily shut after COVID-19 case
The uMfolozi Municipality has been forced to temporarily shut its doors after a case of coronavirus was detected there.
This as a municipal official has tested positive.
At least 34 other staff members believed to have had contact with the official have been traced.
The municipality also urges members of the public who have visited its premises within the last three weeks to self-isolate while monitoring themselves for flu-like symptoms.

Municipal Manager, Elliot Gamede says essential services haven't been interrupted.
"Municipal offices will remain closed until Thursday, 9 July. The municipality continues to ensure that prescribed health protocols and hygienic measures are in place.
"We are arranging that all the other municipal officials and the councillors be tested in our municipal hall. The Department of Health's district office has organised that the nurses come and test all our employees," says Gamede.
