UKZN's Westville campus shutdown

The academic programme at the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Westville campus has been put on hold until next week.
Student unrest at the campus continued today, with video footage of guards firing rubber bullets emerging on social media.
Varsity management issued a communique this morning, saying groups of students were engaging in violent protest action.

Management says it is engaging with student leadership on their concerns, which include issues around accommodation, NSFAS and post-graduate funding.
Lectures are expected to resume on the Westville campus on Monday.
