UKZN: Student registration strictly online, no walk-ins
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) says no walk-in students will be allowed during the registration process for the 2022 academic year.
Spokesperson Normah Zondo says they are aware that messages encouraging students and parents to flock to campuses on Monday have been shared.
She says these are fake.
"This year's registration process is strictly online. Which means that there are no registration services or registration assistance available on any of our campuses, and therefore, no students or parents will be allowed onto any of the campuses for registration purposes."
Meanwhile, the Mangosuthu University of Technology says it is ready to welcome its first-year students.
It says it entered the final stage of the selection process after the release of the matric results last week.
The institution has encouraged all students to register online as well.
