UKZN SRC: Meeting with management will determine if protests persist
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
The student leadership at UKZN's Howard College Campus says the cancellation of protest action depends on one thing - management's response.

Demonstrations broke out on Monday over the institution's exclusion of students owing fees and other issues.

The registration process was halted after some 300 marchers stormed venues and halls.
The SRC's Mphathi Majola says they want all those students back at the campus for the new academic year.
"As the student leadership, we are going to engage with management sometime this week. I cannot guarantee whether there is going to be a strike or there won't be a strike, that will be determined by the response of the management," he says.
Meanwhile, Howard College management says it's committed to resolving the issues raised by the SRC as soon as possible.
