Police say before the grim discovery, the suspect was seen emerging from a bush.
Zondi was reported missing by UKZN's Risk Management Services on Friday.

While the motive for the killing is not yet known, a video has been widely shared on social media.
It purportedly shows the suspect confessing to the murder and referring to the victim as a, "zombie."
Police say they are disturbed by the footage of the accused which appears to have been taken before officers arrived on scene.
Police are urging people not to share the clip.
