UKZN closes Howard College campus in Durban

Another University of KwaZulu-Natal campus has shutdown its academic programme.

Lectures at Howard College have now been put on hold after student protests on the campus this morning.
The SRC's leading the demonstrations.
The council's president says they are unhappy with the admissions process, security patrols and post-graduate funding.
UKZN closed its Edgewood and Westville campuses yesterday.
This comes after two campuses suspended classes yesterday.

UKZN closed its Edgewood and Westville campuses yesterday.
The university says it took a decision to close all three campuses to ensure the safety of its non-protesting students, staff and property. Lectures have been suspended until further notice.
