Two young schoolboys killed in crash between taxi, truck in Rosetta

Two children have been killed in a crash in Rosetta between Mooi River and Nottingham Road.
The boys are aged seven and 12.
KZN EMRS spokesperson Robert McKenzie says several other children have been hurt.
"Paramedics and emergency services have treated six children at the scene of a fatal crash R103 in Rosetta. Sadly two people have sustained fatal inquiries in this crash, which occurred earlier this afternoon."
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Zinhle Mali says a minibus and a truck collided on R103 on Friday afternoon.

"It is alleged that the driver of a minibus was under the influence of alcohol. There were 16 schoolchildren that were ferried by that minibus.
"The recovery is in progress. The driver of the minibus, because he was under the influence of alcohol, was placed under arrest by Nottingham SAPS."
The injured children have been transported to hospital.
