Two of seven matric pupils affected by faction feuds sit for exams
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Another meeting has been scheduled with the families involved in a feud that's left at least four people dead in three weeks in uMsinga, in northern KZN.
Seven matric pupils from four different high schools have been unable to sit for their final exams - because of the faction feuds. On Sunday, only one of the families involved pitched for a meeting.
The other families sent their apologies - saying they feared for their lives.
The Community Safety department - which took part in the meeting, says they now have information from one side of the affected families.

It's also emerged that there was an assassination attempt on the life of someone belonging to one of the families - who resides and works in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, two brothers from one of the feuding families were buried in Ladysmith at the weekend.
Police, traditional leaders and a local chief have called for calm and for the killings to end, while a solution is being sought.
The Education Department says it's doing all it can to ensure that the affected learners get an opportunity to write their exams.
So far, two of the seven pupils have written their exams, while the remaining five will write their supplementary exams next year.
