Two men found in bullet-ridden car in Verulam

Police in Verulam are investigating the death of two men who
were shot and killed while travelling in their car on Saturday.
The pair were found inside a vehicle riddled with bullet holes in a sugarcane field in the area, north of Durban.
KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the circumstances leading to the incident are still unclear.

"In the afternoon on the M27 in Verulam, a vehicle was found in the sugarcane fields with bullet holes.
"Inside the fields police found two bodies of men believed to be in their 20s with multiple gun shot wounds to the body. Both the victims were certified dead at the scene."
