Two killed in three-vehicle R103 crash

Two people have been killed in a triple-vehicle crash on the R103 near Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

According to information from the scene, one of the trucks veered onto the oncoming lane, colliding head-on with another.
The crash occurred shortly after 6am this morning.
Netcare911's Shawn Herbst says if you are driving in that area, you need to be aware of misty conditions.
"Reports from the scene indicate that three heavy motor vehicles were involved in a head-on collision. Two occupants of one of the trucks had died while one occupant of another truck was left in a serious condition," Herbst said.
