Two killed in Pinetown taxi crash

There was a horrific crash involving two minibus taxis at a T-junction in Westmead in Pinetown on Wednesday morning.
Paramedics say at least two people have been killed on Goodwood and Leeukop roads.

They spent the morning assessing and treating the victims.
It's not known what caused the smash.

Garrith Jamieson from ALS Paramedics says two people were killed and 15 others were hurt.
"Paramedics found that, unfortunately, one person had been flung from the vehicle and sustained major injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could for her and she was declared dead on the scene.
"While paramedics work to stabilize multiple critical patients; a male believed to be in his 40s went into cardiac arrest."
Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
