Two Durban schoolboys are receiving treatment after falling
from a bridge during an apparent altercation.
Emergency services say the boys fell from a height of about 5m earlier today.
Crisis Medical spokesperson, Kyle van Reenen says they were alerted to the incident after the boys were seen falling from a bridge in the Kenville area in Durban North.

Van Reenen says the boys were found to have sustained severe head injuries.
“According to reports, the boys had allegedly been involved in an altercation leading them to fall from the bridge to the road below. Advanced and intermediate life support interventions to needed to stabilise them,” he said.
They were then placed on specialised stretches with suspected neck and spinal cord injuries.
Van Reenen says the exact details surrounding the incident are still unclear.
He says police are investigating.
