Two children, man killed in another KZN drive-by shooting

Police in Pietermaritzburg are probing another drive-by shooting which left two children and a taxi driver dead.
Police say gunmen in a silver vehicle opened fire on a taxi on Eddie Hagen Drive in Inchanga on Wednesday night.
ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring says paramedics found the vehicle parked on the side of the road riddled with bullets.
"Several people were found scattered around the scene while two bodies were found lying inside the taxi. Medics assessed the patients and found that two adults and a young boy had sustained numerous, fatal gunshot wounds. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead."

"Seven other patients were tended to. Assessments showed that they had sustained gunshot wounds leaving them in a moderate to serious condition. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported them to Provincial Hospitals for further care," he says.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says three counts of murder and seven of attempted murder were opened at the Inchanga police station for investigation.

Officials are working to establish the motive for the shooting.
Earlier today, two men were shot dead while travelling along Umbilo Road in the south of Durban.
