Two arrested after fatal rugby club shooting in Pongola

Two suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a fatal shooting at a rugby club in Pongola.
Police say on Friday night - six armed men stormed the club and forced patrons to lie on the ground - before opening fire.
It's understood one of the patrons drew his firearm, and a shoot-out ensued.
One of the gunmen was shot dead. A patron - aged 30 - was also shot and later died in hospital.

KZN police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the suspects were caught while trying to go over the border.
"The two suspects aged 20 and 26 -years old were about to leave the country, and they were arrested while attempting to flee towards the Swaziland border."
"They are expected to appear in Pongola Magistrate Court soon [facing charges of] murder, attempted business robbery, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition."
