Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Seven vehicles - six of them trucks - have been set alight in a protest in the Mpumalanga province.

According to police, the trucks belonged to companies that transport coal from the mines in the town of Hendrina.
A bakkie belonging to Eskom has also been torched.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Leonard Hlathi says no injuries were reported.
"This was a result of public protest which became violent - by community members this morning around 3am. However, we once were there - they became quiet. We then received reports that the trucks were burning. We have six trucks - in total - that were set alight. There are cases that we have opened for the purpose of investigation."
