Truck driver killed in Hluhluwe horror crash

A truck driver was killed on the N2 in Hluhluwe, north of KwaZulu-Natal following an accident involving two trucks and a car.
The accident took place shortly after 10am on Sunday, when a tanker caught alight, spreading the blaze to the other vehicles.
Emergency authorities closed the freeway for hours until firefighters contained the raging fire.
KZN EMS's Rob Mckenzie says the cause of the crash is unknown.
"Sadly, it is suspected that there are fatalities as a result of the crash. However, the exact number of fatalities cannot be determined at this stage as the vehicles caught alight after the crash.

"At this stage, we know its a very large fire that broke out. It's thought that initially there was two trucks that were involved in the crash.
"At this stage, we are not certain as the vehicle was passing or had just been parked next to the road, but it also got st alight due to the spreading fire."
