Emergency workers have freed a truck driver from the wreckage of a crash near Richmond Road in Pinetown.
Two trucks were involved in this morning's crash. While it is not exactly clear what caused the crash, reports from the scene are that one vehicle smashed into a stationary truck on the Durban bound route earlier.
It then went up the embankment and smashed into the bridge.
