Treasury provides KZN schools with drought assistance

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury has provided three schools in the uMkhanyakude District with water systems to assist during drought periods.
Pupils and staff at the northern KwaZulu-Natal schools will benefit from storage systems and infrastructure with a combined volume of more than 22,000 litres.

The Phungaza Secondary, Inkosi Moses Zikhali and Hill 70 schools were identified by Treasury as needing the most assistance.
Treasury's Simiso Magagula says they will look to provide similar assistance to other schools, as long as their budget can accommodate it.
