Two people died when their vehicle overturned at Oliviershoek Pass in Bergville. The crash left three others hurt.
In another accident, a bakkie travelling towards Nongoma also overturned on the R66 yesterday - leaving 11 people seriously injured.

KZN EMS's Robert McKenzie explains says two people were injured in the collision on the N2.
"It caused a massive blaze which resulted in the N2 highway being closed. Paramedics had to keep a safe distance from this - at least a few kilometres. They treated two people as a result of the incident.
"One patient was treated by KZN EMS yet sustained only minor injuries. The other patient had escaped in the other direction and was treated by emergency services from Mpumalanga," he says.
In Durban, a 57-year-old woman had to be treated for injuries after a bakkie crashed through her home in Inanda early yesterday.
