Top KZN cops must help probe into seized ammo machine - DA
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Calls have been made for
the police's top brass to jump into action in KZN and support the
investigation into an ammunition manufacturing machine seized from KwaMashu Hostel
north of Durban.

During the morning raid on Tuesday, teams also confiscated two-way radios with a police frequency and over a million rand worth of ammunition.
It's understood the machine is capable of producing 100 rounds of ammunition a day.
Police believe the property's owner has been supplying heist syndicates.
They're trying to verify the authenticity of his operating permit.

The DA's spokesperson on community safety Sharon Hoosen says a concerted effort is needed to ensure that the suspects are caught.
"Arrests in this case will be a huge moral boost to the SAPS and give the people of KZN some help. The arrests will also send a clear message that SAPS is prompt to act. Criminals have had a free reign in KZN for far too long."
