KZN's Community Safety Department says law enforcement is doing all it can to rid the province of illegal guns and ammunition.

This week, the Hawks raided what they think is an illegal ammunition manufacturing operation in Durban.
They recovered cartridges, bullet heads and two handset radios at the premises at KwaMashu Hostel.
Official say they are working to determine the authenticity of the operating permit.
