Three pupils in court for Richards Bay school assault

Three pupils arrested in connection with an assault incident captured in a viral video at Richards Bay Secondary School will make their first court appearance today.
The 19-year-olds face an assault charge with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They'll line up in the Richards Bay Magistrates Court.
In the video, a pupil is seen being attacked on the school premises in view of other learners.
"These suspects were arrested after we noticed that there was a video that was circulating on social media. It is alleged they were using knives were using bush knives," he said.
KZN Education MEC, Mthandeni Dlungwane who visited the school yesterday says a team's been appointed to investigate the incident.
