Three PMB men sentenced to life for tuckshop owner murder

Three Pietermaritzburg men have begun serving life terms for murdering a tuck-shop owner.
Xolani Ntsalaze, Vusumuzi Ngubane and Siphosakhe Mbatha were found guilty of killing 52-year-old Madinda Bhekezakhe Dlamini four years ago.
They were sentenced on Friday with the High Court also giving them 20 years for robbery with aggravating circumstances.
The police's Thembeka Mbele says Dlamini was attacked and shot inside his workplace in the Esigcakini Reserve.

The suspects made off with his licensed firearm as well as three cellphones.
A case of murder was opened at Richmond police station and was assigned to provincial organised crime investigation detectives for investigation.
All accused were arrested a year later after the incident and were kept in custody throughout the trial."
