Three killed in north coast crashes

Authorities are investigating after three people were killed in two crashes on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast this morning.

In the first accident, two people have been killed after a motorbike and a taxi collided near KwaDukuza.
IPSS Medical Rescue says an occupant of the taxi was also hurt.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
Meanwhile in the second incident, a man was killed after the bakkie he was driving crashed off a bridge along the R102 near aMatikulu.
IPSS says the jaws of life had to be used to cut the man's body from the wreckage.
It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Emergency services say the bike and taxi crashed on the Doesburg Road at about 5am.
