Three hurt after car ploughs into Umhlanga hotel foyer

Three people have escaped serious injury after a car crashed through the glass entrance of an Umhlanga Ridge hotel.

Emergency services say two vehicles collided in Meridian Drive in the early hours of this morning.
"No one from inside the hotel was hurt," said spokesperson Kyle van Reenen.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
One of the cars then left the roadway and crashed into the hotel, coming to a stop inside the hotel foyer.

Crisis Medical says the driver of the vehicle suffered moderate injuries."No one from inside the hotel was hurt," said spokesperson Kyle van Reenen.
The two occupants of the second car sustained minor injuries.

They were treated on scene before being taken to hospital.It is unclear what caused the crash.
