Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Three people have been gunned down at a taxi rank in the north of Durban.
At least seven others have been wounded in this afternoon's drive-by shooting outside Midway Crossing between Newlands West and Ntuzuma.
The KZN SAPS's Robert Netshiunda says while the motive for the attack is not yet known, taxi-related violence cannot be ruled out.

"Police in KwaZulu Natal have launched a massive manhunt of an unknown number of suspects. Information available at this stage suggest that the victims were sitting on the side of Ntuzuma Express road opposite a mall, when a silver Polo arrived, and occupants of the vehicle opened fire at the vehicles and fatally wounding the three on scene."
"The injured victims were sent to the clinic for medical attention."
