The two bodies found dumped in a warehouse parking in Durban south were that of a woman and her niece.
The victims have been identified as 30-year-old Lee-Ann Jaers and 17-year-old Ashleigh Jaers.
Their naked bodies were discovered on Sunday on Mahes Road in Isipingo.
One of the victims had an injury on her temple, whilst the other appeared to have been strangled.

Ashleigh's mother, Lisa Jaers, says they had last seen her sister and her daughter on Saturday night at their family home.
She says the pair had not indicated they would be going out that night.
"No one expects anything to happen the day the children are leaving the house for them to come back in the manner the way that they came back is hard, unbearable.
"My daughter is in matric, my sister is a mother of three. Why were they robbed of their life like that?"

She says the family is heartbroken.
"We don't know who could do such an evil thing. It is so bad what they have done, dumped them like dogs and like they don't have family."
