Teen in hospital after fatal stabbing in Ntuzuma

Police say the teen was wounded during an incident on Tuesday, where he allegedly stabbed an 18-year-old to death. 

 

One other person was wounded and is recovering in hospital.

KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the suspect is set to appear in court once he is discharged from hospital.

 

She says the motive for the attack is under investigation.

 

"The 18-year-old was declared dead on arrival. The suspect and the other victim also sustained injuries, and they were taken to hospital for medical attention, where the suspect will remain under police guard."
