A northern KwaZulu-Natal teacher has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing last month.
Police have confirmed Lwazi Andile Tembe's body was found in a shallow grave in Emanguzi on Wednesday night.

He was last seen on 30 September when he left home in Thengane Reserve, saying he was going to visit his teacher because he needed help with his schoolwork.
The teacher was taken in for questioning earlier this month, but denied that Lwazi had visited him.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Jay Naicker says detectives went to the teacher's home again last night.
"Detectives from the Jozini Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit managed to obtain evidence implicating the teacher in the child's disappearance. The suspect was arrested by a detective and following his arrest, the body of the child was discovered in a shallow grave," says Naicker.
The suspect appeared in the Emanguzi Magistrates Court on charges of murder and kidnapping.
