A northern KwaZulu-Natal family, desperate for answers on the whereabouts of their 12-year-old son, say they have exhausted all options in their search for Lwazi Andile Tembe.
Police say he was last seen 11 days ago when he left his Mzileni home in eManguzi to visit a school teacher.

His mother, Pretty Tembe says they contacted the police after he didn't return home that evening.
Tembe says two days after her son disappeared, she received a text message from his phone, demanding R5 000 ransom in exchange for his safe return.
"The person who has my son, said that he will only hurt him if he does not get want he wants. He says he caught my son breaking into his home with two others. I know my son is incapable of that. I urge the police to intensify their search because its now 11 days since Lwazi left home," she said.
Police urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Jozini FCS detective, Sergeant Xolani Mdluli on 073 742 3363 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
