Co-ordinator of the task team and chief inspector of the city's licensing authority, Dees Suknunan, says they had received numerous complaints about the activity at the house.
"When we entered the premises we found there were young ladies, of all races, some of whom had claimed they were working in the neighbourhood at the massage parlour, and they were masseurs. They said they were renting the place. And during the course of our operations, whilst we were present, we noticed cars and taxis and private vehicles were frequenting the place. And when they saw all our police vehicles, they just turned around and drove away," he said.
In April, law enforcement officials raided an upmarket home on Lady Ellen Crescent, after receiving tip-offs a brothel was being run from there.
Several people, including a women, were arrested. The court case continues.
