Talks to end Parliament strike resume
Updated | By Zongile Mthimkhulu
Nehawu's striking workers and Parliament have agreed to open up discussions around the issue of bonuses.
Parliament's leadership and the union had disagreed with the formula of calculating the bonuses.
Workers had engaged in protest action for over a week with several portfolio committee meetings disrupted.
A task team will be set up to establish how much the bonuses will cost.
Nehawu's Phakama Ndunakazi whose based in KwaZulu-Natal says they never believed Parliament's claims that the budget could not accommodate their demands.
''We are going to continue to fight until all issues are resolved. We are going to make sure that we fight till the end,'' he said.
