Take your baby to safety home, clinic: Open Arms SA
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A Durban-based safe home for babies says desperate parents who can't take care of their children - should know there is a place they can turn to.

"Go to a place of safety or a clinic and say - 'I can't keep my baby'. Find somewhere like Open Arms where they can give you advice instead of dumping the baby."
Glynnis Dauth, who's with Open Arms SA, has been commenting after a 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with child abandonment for allegedly leaving her baby in an alley in Verulam.
The six-month-old girl was found by a restaurant employee on Friday night on Wick Street.
