SUV knocks down boy (9) in Durban

A nine-year-old boy was struck by an SUV in Durban on Wednesday.

Emer-G-Med's Kyle van Reenen says the child suffered serious injuries following the incident on Windermere Road in Morningside.

"Emer-G-Med paramedics together with Netcare 911 and multiple other emergency services agencies responded to the scene to find the young man lying in the roadway.
"Several intermediate and advanced life support interventions methods were used to stabilise him on scene before he was rushed rapidly to a hospital for the care her required."
